Artist's Comments

This work was done using Derwent Graphic art pencils and acid free paper. I loved the serious looks on their faces in this one and just had to draw it. Enjoy the view!

You're as good as always at drawing Moni!
I've noticed how you have improved over the years. From the beginning of 1998 when I first visited Masterpiece of Hanson until today.
Keep up the great work! :worship:

There isn't anything I could criticize. Really nice details on the clothing, and the contrast is great too.

My favorite thing about the photo that this was drawn from is that Taylor's one eye is slightly... crooked. Just a little bit off-balance. Imperfections aren't that uncommon, but to see one so front-and-center is unusual, especially with Taylor. It makes him especially beautiful, I think. But I think that imperfection was lost in translation here.

I've heard a lot of people describe your art as "too perfect". Like, it's technically, mechanically perfect. Everything is lined up, every shadow and oily shine, every hair that's in or out of place, every freckle and mole and eyelash and wrinkle. I never understood how something could be "too perfect", but I think I see it now.

You missed Taylor's crooked eye. It's too perfect.
